Pavek Museum Curator
Luis Felipe Eguiarte Souza, Ph.D., was raised by science fiction fans, as his father used to read him classics like “The Cyberiad” by StanisÅ‚aw Lem and “The Foundation” series by Isaac Asimov. He’s always been fascinated by stories about the future and how we project our fears and hopes onto them. In 2023, he realized his dream of combining his passion for the past, science, and sci-fi in his PhD dissertation, “Masters of an Improbable Future: How Technocracy Shaped the Future of Human Evolution for Three British Scientists, J. B. S. Haldane, J. D. Bernal, and Julian Huxley.”
