Book a Pavek Museum educational experience for your next field trip. All programs cover a range of Minnesota Academic standards for grades 3 through 12.

Code Quest
In Code Quest, students in grades 4 through 12 learn about the history of computers and engage in logic puzzle games to grasp complex computing concepts. The program offers a hands-on mechanical computing experience using the Turing Tumble created by local company Upper Story that enriches students’ understanding of STEM principles.
The program is 75 minutes long and can accommodate a maximum of 30 students. It can also be combined with another field trip program as a Combo Experience.
Code Quest in the Classroom
Code Quest in the Classroom brings this Pavek Museum education program to classrooms within a 30-mile radius of the museum. We bring all the supplies; you provide the classroom!
The cost $100 for the first program of up to 30 students and $75 for each additional 75-minute program of up to 30 students on the same day. We charge $0.70/mile round trip in addition to the program cost.
The Broadcast Experience
Designed for students in grades 3 through 8, the Broadcast Experience teaches the history and science of electronic communication. After a short tour, students create a live radio broadcast and compete against each other in a TV-style game show.
The Broadcast Experience allows students to have fun while learning about history, science, and technology, and leaves them eager to return to the Pavek Museum.
The program is 75 minutes long and can accommodate a maximum of 30 students. It can also be combined with another field trip program as a Combo Experience.

The Electromagnetism Experience
In the Electromagnetism Experience, students in grades 3 through 8 explore the fundamentals of electromagnetism, the force that powers our modern world. Through a series of hands-on experiments, students learn about the relationship between electricity and magnetism. The experience ends with a scavenger hunt in the museum.
The program is 75 minutes long and can accommodate a maximum of 30 students. It can also be combined with another field trip program as a Combo Experience.
Combination Experience
Make the most out of a visit to the Pavek Museum with the Combo Experience and combine two unique programs in one day for a single field trip.
The program is 3-hours long with 30-minute lunch included between the two programs. The Code Quest and Guided Tour combo and Code Quest and Electromagnetism Experience combo each have a maximum of 30 students. The Code Quest and Broadcast Experience combo and The Broadcast and Electromagnetism Experiences combo each have a maximum of 60 students.
Birthdays at the Pavek Museum!
Would you like to celebrate a birthday at the Pavek Museum? Any field trip program can be booked as a birthday party. Birthday parties include a 60-minute reservation in our conference room for food, cake, and presents for an additional $25.
