Induction Date: 01/01/2003

Attorney Gregg P. Skall is highly regarded both by his peers in telecommunications law and by his friends in the Broadcast Industry. He successfully campaigned for expanded hours of operation for the Daytime Broadcasters Association, and organized and represented a coalition of radio broadcasters to obtain major policy changes on the FCC main studio rule. He drafted the Radio Broadcast Data System standard for FM radio, and also provided critical legal and policy support in the deregulation of FM radio subcarriers for non-broadcast use. In addition, he has orchestrated scores of broadcast property transactions. A former Chief Counsel for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and General Counsel for the White House Office of Telecommunications Policy, he now practices with the Washington, DC, firm of Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice.
