After a stint in Chicago at WBBM TV, Cyndy moved back to Minnesota, and in 1979 she began her tenure at KSTP TV, co-anchoring alongside Ron Magers as the Twin Cities’ top-rated news team. In 1981, Stan Turner became Cyndy’s new co-anchor, creating a team lasting most of the next five years. She moved to KARE TV for a brief period, hosting the news segment, “Cyndy’s Notebook.” In the years to follow, she left television to pursue other interests, but in 2004, she returned to KSTP TV as an anchor once again. Her sincerity and professionalism make Cyndy a true role-model for every broadcaster in the industry.
